As part of an Nike's ongoing work with tennis pro Roger Federer, we designed this collection of apparel, worn by Roger Federer at the Wimbledon 2008. We handmade all the elements, except for the cardigan, which we had made in Italy. This project, like all of our work for Federer, was highly detailed and personalized. Some of these details include the buttons, which I hand turned on the wood lathe, and laser etched RF5 into the wood to represent the five Wimbledon championships he had won to that point.
